A MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dear Members of the Community:
We have exciting news!
For many years, parents in other neighborhoods have let us know they want their children to have the same opportunities we offer students in our current footprint. Parents we have served for years also believe we should reach more families. Additionally, our team hates turning people away simply because they don't live in our original service area.
In response, our Board of Directors recently approved a three-year strategic plan that includes making more programs available across the city!
What does this mean for our current footprint?
-
Westhaven, 10th & Page, and Starr Hill will continue to be our "priority footprint." When we have limited funds and staffing, we will offer programs first to our original community.
-
Opportunities open to others in the city will be on a first come, first served basis. That means spaces will fill faster than they have before.
Be sure to spread this good news with your friends. We will spend the coming months gaining more insight on how we can improve what we do. Your experiences and advice will help us shape the future.
Thank you for all the ways you support the City of Promise mission!
Ms. Mary
