Parents and other adults in the neighborhood come together to ensure the children in the community receive quality education and enrichment to help them reach their promise. The Community Leadership Team leads the way by advising the City of Promise staff, planning events, and supporting program development.

Girls Alright Mini-Camp
waiting for 2022 information.
This year we will host a week-long in person creative writing camp that will host a series of workshops in poetry, fiction,nonfiction and songwriting genres. Participants will be hosted daily at the historical Morven Farms from 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM and limited transportation will be provided. Our purpose: to foster a space for girls to explore the beauty of their creativity and imagination through written expression. Participants will use this camp as a place to learn, grow, and develop their writing abilities.

C'ville Schools and YMCA Power Scholars Academy
