TEEN LEADERSHIP GROUP

Who We Are

The Teen Leadership Group is being formed by City of Promise in the summer of 2023 to develop a permanent youth group that leads important conversations about what teens in our city need.

What We Do

We ask other teens in the city of Charlottesville questions

about the issues on the top of their minds, like:

  • Social Media Use

  • Mental Health

  • Fitness and Nutrition

  • Things to do in Charlottesville

  • Relationships with parents and teachers

  • Safety

  • Finances

  • Future

Then we will take what we learn from surveys and focus groups to community leaders and adults to inform them of our needs.
