If your child is remaining virtual for the rest of the school year, our pathway coaches can offer them support to finish the school year strong. If your child is heading back to school,

let us know if they need supplies or coaching support.

City of Promise is eager to RESTORE JOY to children and families this summer after a long year indoors.

If you live in our footprint, you are eligible to have fees paid for various camps and trips.

Anchored in the neighborhood we serve, our two locations give us flexibility to host large and small gatherings safely, even during the pandemic. Our availability varies. Please call 434-295-9525 if you need to contact our staff.

If you would like to enroll your child in our services or utilize our facilities for school work, please review the list of options below and contact our staff. Space is limited!

PREGNANCY, PRESCHOOL, AND GRADES K-4

Parents and their children from pre-birth to 4th Grade are offered support for

  • developing basic skills in parenting

  • health, nutrition, and self-care

  • preparation for preschool

  • success in the early grades

  • connecting with school personnel

PATHWAY COACHING FOR GRADES 5-8

Students in grades 5-8 receive one-on-one academic mentoring online. Areas of focus include:

  • staying organized

  • improving grade point average

  • connecting to a tutor

  • how to communicate with teachers

  •  developing a growth mindset

  • exploring careers

  • college prep activities (applications, college visits, financial aid)

  • internships, jobs, and networking
